My story

Meet sweet baby Buttons! Buttons is an independent little guy with plenty of puppy sass and charm! He's friendly with everyone he meets, though he's still learning that not everything (including people) is meant to be chewed on. He is eager to learn and responds well to training, already working on basic commands like sit, no, and leave it. Buttons is 16lbs and we think a Beagle/pitty mix (visual guess). Buttons loves playing with his canine housemate, chasing balls, and exploring with all his toys. He's learning to walk nicely on a leash and would make a great hiking or running companion once he's older. Car rides are becoming easier as he learns to settle down after the initial excitement. This food-motivated pup has a quirky love for ice cubes and enjoys giving paw. He loves cuddle time on the couch when he's ready to wind down for the day. He would be perfect for an active household that can provide structure, training, and plenty of engagement for him. He enjoys children, but his teething can be annoying to them. He lives with chickens and spent a few days with cats and was great with them!
