Chelsea will do best in a quieter environment as she is a bit nervous around too much activity. Chelsea is not a barker, enjoys sleeping in her foster's bed and appears to be housetrained. She is good with other dogs, but quite prefers human attention to playing with her own kind. She is laid back, low key and low energy, and would do fine in an apartment/townhouse/condo. In addition, Chelsea is crate trained and walks well on leash.   If you are looking for a quiet companion willing to hang on the couch while you read a novel or binge-watch Netflix, Chelsea is your gal! Adoption fees cover basic vetting, spay/neuter surgery (for dogs over 6 months old), rabies, distemper/parvo vaccinations, treatment for worms, heartworm testing, monthly heartworm prevention and monthly flea/tick prevention (while the animal is in our care), and transport costs from high-kill shelter. Please note that on average, Hatton Animal Rescue spends significantly more on each dog than the adoption fee.
