Houdini

My story

Microchipped, DOB November 10, 2024 Houdini is hilarious. He really loves to play and he plays all the time! He wrestles with his bed and he lies on his back with his legs up in the air. He is vocal about food and he really likes attention. He is a sweet and good-natured cat. Houdini was rescued from a cat hoarding situation where he had very limited contact with people. He has now learned that it’s OK to be touched and that he actually likes to be petted, and he purrs all the time. He is still a bit skittish but improves every day. Houdini should go to a forever home where there is another friendly cat from whom he can learn, but because of his history his foster parent recommends that his new home not have any children. His adopters should engage with him throughout the day with treats and playtime in order to continue his socialization journey, but still also give him some space to figure things out on his own. He has a lot of love to give once he finds his comfort zone!
