Max

My story

Max was left on our front porch one morning, and while we don’t know much about his past, we’re getting to know what an amazing dog he truly is. At about 2 ½ years old and 92 lbs, he’s a big boy, but also a well-mannered one! Max is house-trained, non-destructive, and already knows “sit” and “paw.” He walks nicely on the leash, checking in with his person often, and loves to romp around outside or play with you. He is energetic and would love an outlet for his energy! Despite his size, Max has a timid side. He can be easily startled and needs a little time to warm up to new people and places. Because of this, he’ll do best in a calm environment with patient adopters who can help build his confidence. Once he feels safe, you’ll see his playful, loyal, and incredibly sweet personality shine through. Max isn’t sure yet how he feels about other dogs or cats, but he absolutely loves human companionship and just wants to hang out with you. If you’re looking for a loyal, affectionate companion who’s equal parts playmate and loyal companion, Max may be the perfect match.
