River

My story

River was rescued from an abandoned home at around 7 months. From the neighbors of the abandoned home they believe she is Lab & Rottie mixed. She is currently around 10 months old. Our family attempted to Foster her but as she has grown, her needs and personality are not a fit for what our home holds and what she’s in need of to thrive in her forever home. Our family has two small children and other animals (chickens, cat, and tortoise). As River has grown small children and other animals are factors that do NOT serve her best in her forever home environment. She loves to run and play in a big yard. She LOVES water and is extremely intelligent. She would absolutely thrive off of committed teachings and trainings that we unfortunately don’t have the time or energy for. She has basic crate training. She is an over all great dog for a home/individual who has the time, energy, space, and environment to give her the forever home she deserves and can thrive in.
