Tonka — Applying for the Role of Your Full-Time Best Friend Dear Future Family, My name is Tonka, and I’m officially applying for the position of Loyal Companion, Playtime Enthusiast, and Full-Time Snuggle Buddy. I’m a 2-year-old black and white Boxer mix, weighing in at a fit and friendly 51 pounds. If you’re looking for someone who will bring joy, love, and a little bit of wiggle to your life, I believe I’m the perfect candidate. I’m incredibly dog-friendly and thrive in the company of other pups, whether it's a calm walk around the neighborhood or a play session in the backyard. I’m playful, sweet, and social—just the kind of co-worker (or couch buddy) you want around when life gets a little too quiet. My standout skill is fetch. I don’t just chase the ball—I return it and drop it right into your hand, ready for another round. I treat every game like it’s my job, and I give it my all. When playtime is over, I’m more than happy to settle in for some cuddles. I'm an expert in snuggling and will happily lounge beside you as long as you’ll let me. When I get excited (which is often, because life is great!), my whole backside wiggles with joy. I’m always happy to meet people and can’t wait to be part of a family who loves me back just as much as I’ll love them. I come fully vetted for the job: I’m crate trained, spayed, microchipped, and up to date on all my vaccines. I’m ready to move in and start work immediately—no onboarding required.
