My story
LEAH CLEARWATER is a female-spayed long hair calico cat. She was born about June 2023. We have no details of her early life. She was rescued by a kind person June 2025 as a stray cat with her nursing litter of kittens. Later that month Leah and her litter were relinquished to YAPS by her rescuer. Leah was adopted mid-August, but very reluctantly returned to YAPS early October because of owner’s allergy problems. We find her to be beautiful, calm, gentle, and VERY loving. She usually comes to you for affection from her resting place. She loves being petted – usually nuzzles/ head-butts you, &/or rolls over for stomach rubs in appreciation. Leah also likes being held in your lap or arms. She gets along well with other cats. She’s a volunteer & staff favorite due to her beauty, and very loving nature.
