Lolli

My story

We received a call late one evening about a young mother dog who was dying from eclampsia. This life-threatening condition is caused by a severe drop in calcium levels in the blood. She lived in a tent village near Fresno with her 5 puppies and a human who could not afford to help so we paid for Lolli to be taken to an emergency clinic where her life was saved. Unfortunately she could no longer nurse her puppies so another rescue took the pups and we took Lolli, the very next day. Her wonderful foster mom has helped this gorgeous 10 pound 2-year-old chihuahua/spaniel to mix, recover and thrive. Lolli is housebroken, leash-trained and loves to learn new things. She has lots of energy and would do best with a doggy sibling or two. At the very least, she will need a young active home where she will not be alone too much. Lolli is a gorgeous and unique little dog with a heart of solid gold.
