My story

Hi, I’m Brook. Life hasn’t always been easy for me, and I’m still learning how to feel safe in the world. I can be very shy and get scared of new people, places, and noises, but if you look into my big brown eyes, you’ll see how much I want to be loved. In a calm, patient home, I can truly begin to relax. I’ve done well in a foster home with a quiet, friendly dog, and I feel most comfortable when I have a gentle companion to help me along. Once I’ve had the time I need to come out of my shell, I will shower you with love and loyalty. I’m looking for someone who understands that I may take things slowly at first but could blossom with kindness and patience. If you give me the chance, I’ll become your best girl.
