Balto

My story

Balto is my parents dog. My mom passed way last year, my father passed away in March. Balto has lived with me ever since. He’s a good dog, loves other animals, loves kids, loves to play. I have 3 dogs of my own so a fourth dog in my small house is a bit overwhelming. I’m looking for a home for Balto where he gets more attention. He loves all people and is particularly fond of men. He’s maybe 10 or even a bit older, really don’t know. He’s just had his teeth cleaned last year. Negatives- barks so he wears a bark collar. -can’t do a full staircase (my parents didn’t have any), he can handle small staircase like a porch, usually he just jumps them. -needs a harness to walk constantly chokes himself in a collar. Positives- happy fun little dog, loves toys, pets, and attention. Great with other pets such as dogs and cats. I’d rather just keep him if I can’t find the right fit as he was my parents dog. But I thought I’d check and see if I can find him a better life.
