My story

Hi friends, I’m Bogo! I’m a confident, friendly, treat-loving little guy who lives for tunnel zoomies, toys, and anyone who will give me head scratches. I may be small, but my purr-sonality is XXL. I’m hanging out in a quieter space instead of the main cat room because I’m FeLV-positive (Feline Leukemia Virus). Cats like me can still live happy, playful lives—we just need a little extra TLC to keep our immune system strong. There’s no specific antiviral treatment for FeLV, but I’m doing great with supportive care!Here’s what my adopters should know: I can live comfortably with regular vet support I need to finish all medications sent home with me I’ll come back to HALO in mid-January for a FREE retest If I share a home with another cat, they must be fully vaccinated for FeLV firstYou’re welcome to have your personal vet do extra testing or care (at your own cost), but HALO has you covered for the retest!
