Otto

My story

We got Otto as a puppy and he has been a wonderful, lazy friend to us. He’s great with kids, has limited cat experience and loves the dog park. The typical giant breed who thinks he is a lapdog, Otto loves and snuggle and to engage in very intense eye contact. He’s been great with kids, though his size is a challenge with little ones, who might get knocked over by his impressive tail. He is the consummate Little Mermaid dog - and just wants to be where the people are! He has had some aggression toward one dog in our neighborhood and as life has gotten busier, we have not been able to devote the time needed to him. He is pretty lazy - a trip to the dog park and a few walks a week seem to be enough for him. He will be 4 years old on December 2. Coming in at 110 pounds, his parents were 50/50 Newfoundland and Great Pyrenees and he definitely has all the breed traits. We would like to find a home that wants a large, fluffy couch potato, and ideally has experience with large dogs.
