My story

We found Willow in the desert down in Arizona when she was roughly 7-8 months old & was just skin & bones. She immediately warmed up to both of us and slept in her crate the very first night. She just turned 4 in January (or February) and we were hoping her dog aggression would get better but it seems to have only gotten worse. She has the sweetest soul & absolutely loves and adores people. She has never bitten a person who wasn’t getting between her & another dog. We have 3 cats that she gets along with fine, one of them is her best friend and they play constantly. She is high energy and would thrive with someone who has property without any neighbors (who have dogs) around. She would be a great livestock dog. We would prefer not to rehome her but living without neighbors around does not seem like it is in our future, and we don’t believe she deserves to be left in her crate constantly just to be able to keep her. She is an absolute sweetheart and deserves a life we can’t give her.

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Willow, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
