My story

Meet Sugar Plum — the sweetest soul around! She is truly one of those once-in-a-lifetime dogs — her foster family calls her one of the best they’ve ever had! She’s the perfect mix of happy, playful, and calm, with a heart full of love and a gentle, resilient spirit. This sweet girl adores spending time outside with a favorite toy by her side — whether she’s in the yard, her kennel, or curled up on her dog bed, you’ll always find her with one close by. After playtime, Sugar Plum is perfectly content to come inside, curl up for a nap (complete with her adorable little snores!), and enjoy some quiet cuddle time. She’s a total couch potato at heart and loves being close to her people. Sugar Plum gets along beautifully with other dogs, is wonderful with children, and even ignores the family cat — truly an easygoing companion for any home. She’s also an incredible mama, having lovingly raised three puppies with patience and care. As one of our special needs dogs, Sugar Plum is looking for a loving, patient family who will continue to give her the care and comfort she deserves.
