My story

Meet Matazz – the marble-coated beauty with a heart of gold!  This girl has endless kitten energy and knows how to put it to good use. She’ll chase wand toys until she’s tuckered out, carry toys up and down the stairs, and even invent her own games—yes, she’s been caught happily chasing her own tail! Matazz is also quite the wrestler and loves to roughhouse with her sister, Chazz. When she finally does crash, she turns into the sweetest, snuggly napper. Matazz is making wonderful progress in her foster home. She’s learning that people can be trusted, and she now chooses to curl up next to her foster parent on the couch. But she’s an independent girl at heart—she prefers relationships on her terms and thrives with people who respect her boundaries. Matazz would do best in a home with adults or older children who understand how to give her space when she asks for it. She’s done well with other cats and absolutely needs a kitten buddy in her new home to help her burn off all that playful energy. If you’re looking for a dynamic duo, she would love to be adopted with her sister, Chazz. Matazz is ready for a loving family who will be patient, playful, and understanding—someone who will celebrate her quirks, cheer on her progress, and make her feel safe as she blossoms into the incredible companion she’s meant to be.
