🐾 Meet Homer! 🐾Approx. 2–3 years old | German Shepherd Mix | Neutered | Microchipped | Up to Date on VaccinesSay hello to Homer — a handsome German Shepherd mix with a big heart and an even bigger personality once he feels comfortable! Homer came to us as a stray with his friend Marge, so we don’t know much about his past — but one thing’s for sure, he’s ready for a loving new beginning.At first, Homer may be a little reserved while he checks out new people and surroundings, but once he warms up, his sweet, playful side shines through. He’s a smart boy who appears to be housetrained and doesn’t seem to be a big barker — always a nice bonus!Homer will need surgery for entropion, a condition that causes the eyelids to roll inward, allowing the eyelashes and fur to rub against the cornea and cause irritation. The good news is that the shelter is getting his surgery scheduled, and once it’s done, Homer will be feeling much more comfortable and ready to enjoy life to the fullest!He would do best in a home where he can continue to build confidence and get plenty of love, playtime, and guidance. If you have other dogs, a meet and greet is required to make sure everyone gets along.
