Fuego

My story

Fuego is a wonderful, affectionate 6-year-old cat who loves being around people and has brought our family so much joy. We adopted him from a local shelter when he was a kitten, and he has been a cherished part of our home ever since. Unfortunately, over the past five years, he has struggled with persistent spraying behavior. We have worked closely with our veterinarian for several years, trying multiple approaches to address it, but without lasting success. He still uses the litter box daily, but the spraying has continued despite our best efforts. Fuego truly enjoys being outdoors and is very comfortable in that environment. We believe he would do especially well in a barn setting or a home with outdoor warmth stations, where he can have space to explore and still receive care and affection. This decision is extremely difficult for us, but we want what’s best for him and for our family, and we hope he can find a home where he’ll be happy and comfortable.
