Hana (Aka Bus)

My story

Hana is a peppy young kitty but behind that cute face she has a quite story to tell! This poor girl was fighting off an upper respiratory and pinkeye when she was abandoned in a milk crate at a bus stop outside of Chicago Animal Care and Control. Thanks to team work from the rescue community were able to rescue her in the brink of time! When she was rescued she was named "Hana". It means "flower" in Japanese so that she may blossom in foster care. With medications and TLC she's flourished into the beautiful healthy gal we knew she would become. Despite everything she's gone through she's a total sweetheart and craves attention and pets from her humans. This playful girl loves chasing after a feather wand toy. If she sees you toss a ball for her she'll chirp like she's saying "I've got it!" and will run after it. But what she loves the most is to cuddle in your lap. She'll thank you with endless purrs! Hana is so easygoing and doesn't mind being picked up and held. She will likely be great with respectful children. Can you give Hana the loving forever home she's been dreaming of?
