My story

Meet Billy, the irresistibly adorable Shih Tzu mix who bears an uncanny resemblance to a certain lovable Wookiee from Star Wars, yes, we’re talking about Chewy! This sweet senior boy was found alone on the streets, dirty, severely matted, and unwell. After some detective work, we located his former owner who, through heartbreaking circumstances beyond their control, had to surrender him. With love and compassion, Billy was placed in a safe foster home where he’s been thriving ever since. Billy is a gentle, goofy soul with so much charm that wins everyone over. Even though his past owner mentioned he is 16 years old, we believe he may be younger and an agile senior. He gets adorably excited when he sees his leash and loves meeting new dogs and people on his walks, he insists on saying hello to every pup he passes! At home, he’s a total shadow dog, following his foster human everywhere and always eager for a snuggle. If you're the type who loves lazy mornings in bed, Billy will be your perfect companion, snuggled up right beside you. He’s smart, eager to please, and picks up on training quickly.
