My story

Meet Akin, a stunning black panther of a cat with a shiny coat and a heart of gold. This handsome boy is a little over a year old, and despite his majestic appearance, he's a bit of a scaredy-cat. Akin can be skittish around new people, and his adorable airplane ears give away his nervousness. But don't let his shyness fool you - he's a total sweetheart once you win him over.  But that might take time, so he is searching for that one special person that will accept him as he is.  Shy and nervous. Akin is a social butterfly with other cats, and having feline friends will bring out his confident side. While he might not be a lap cat, he'll happily sleep at the foot of your bed and seek you out for playtime with string toys or laser pointers. If you're looking for a companion cat for your resident kitty, Akin is the perfect fit. And if you're a kind soul willing to give a shy boy a chance, he'll reward you with loyalty and affection. Akin deserves a home where he can feel safe and loved, and with patience and understanding, he'll blossom into a confident and loving companion. Adoption Information Prior to adoption, every cat in our care is spayed or neutered, microchipped, given age-appropriate vaccinations, treated for parasites, and combo-tested for FIV/FeLV. We make sure each cat is healthy, safe, and ready to thrive in their forever home. Adoption Fees Kittens (under 6 months): $150 Adults (over 6 months): $125 Seniors / Special Needs: $75 Please Note: We cannot hold cats for any reason. Please only apply if you’re ready to meet and welcome your new companion within 3 days of applying. Kittens under 4 months must go to a home with another friendly feline, or be adopted with a buddy.
