Lucy

My story

Lucy is about 4 years old and is a sweet, gentle girl who forms strong bonds with the people she loves. Once she feels comfortable, she enjoys being close and spending time with you, though she does take a little time to warm up to new people and situations. She can be skittish and cautious by nature, something she’s been like since she was very young. Lucy does well with other dogs and would ideally go to a home with another dog, as she’s always had a canine companion (we are keeping our older dog). She’s used to being around kids, though she may be shy at first until she gets to know them. If she’s very uncomfortable, she may give a small growl as a warning, but she has never snapped or bitten anyone, including at the vet. She is kennel trained and finds comfort in her crate. Lucy knows Sit, Stay, Spin, Wait, and Shake. Her kennel and some of her favorite toys will come with her. She received all her early-life vaccinations and will need an updated rabies shot.
