My story

Meet Coco! Coco is a charming little companion who truly blossoms once she’s had a bit of time to settle in and build trust. She’s seeking an experienced, adult-only (18+) home where she can be the star of the show and return that love with plenty of affection. Coco does best in a calm, predictable environment where she can relax and feel secure. She’s quiet, snuggly, and housebroken with regular potty breaks. Her ideal evening ends curled up right beside you, happily soaking up your company. She knows her basic cues like sit and stay, will occasionally entertain herself by chasing her own tail, and looks especially adorable bundled up in a cozy coat. Coco enjoys watching the world go by from the window and prefers a low-key lifestyle. She would love to be the only dog in the home, though she may coexist with another very calm dog. Her experience with cats is unknown. Coco isn’t built for long walks or adventures; a fenced yard is strongly preferred so she can enjoy fresh air at her own pace. She’s non-destructive when left alone for a few hours and would be a great match for someone with a quieter routine. Coco appreciates having her space respected, especially around food and special items. She has shown some resource-guarding behaviors and has worked with a trainer, and her future family should be prepared to manage this thoughtfully, as inconsistent handling can make these behaviors more challenging over time. With patience, consistency, and an understanding of canine boundaries, Coco can continue to thrive. Coco is up to date on vaccinations and preventatives, and has been microchipped and spayed. For the right home, Coco offers loyalty, sweetness, and a deep bond that grows stronger with time.
