My story

Meet Thelma & Louise — bonded, gentle, and deserving of another forever. (Louise) Just over seven years ago, Thelma and Louise left our rescue together and were welcomed into a home where they were truly family. They were cherished, deeply loved, and given a life full of comfort, stability, and devotion.  Then tragedy struck — and through no fault of their own, they found themselves back with us. Now just over seven years old, Thelma and Louise are scared and confused. The people they loved are gone, and everything familiar disappeared at once. Through it all, they have leaned on each other, staying close, quiet, and gentle. They are the definition of easy companions: Fully house trained Calm, well-mannered, and proven in a homeNo barking, even in our busiest rescue environment No chewing, no chaos — just peaceful presence Completely non-reactive to other dogs Sweet, affectionate, and endlessly lovable These girls don’t ask for much. A soft place to rest. A calm home. Patience while their hearts heal. And most importantly — they must stay together. Their bond is their comfort, their safety, and their constant. Thelma & Louise have already known love.
