My story

Found a litter of 4 kittens behind our apartment dumpster. Found homes for all except one, so we kept him. Got him vaccinated, and more recently got him neutered. We’ve been told by two different vets that he has a heart murmur, and needs a cardiac work up. He cannot do vigorous exercise because of this. He becomes winded very easily. He is a playful, energetic and loving 9 month old. We have a senior cat that wants nothing to do with him, which we thought would be manageable but he will not leave her alone. He chases after her and tries to play rough and she wants no part of it. She growls, hisses and yells. I can tell this is extremely stressful for her and I worry for her health at this age. We also have two large dogs, one of which is cat aggressive, so we have to section off the apartment. This has been extremely difficult, exhausting and stressful and we’ve come to terms with the fact that Liam is not a good fit for us, and we are not a good fit for Liam.

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Liam, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
