My story

Willy is a 16-pound, fully grown sweetheart with the gentlest soul. He’s a little shy at first, but don’t let that fool you—this boy has so much love to give. With a bit of patience and lots of treats (his love language), Willy slowly comes out of his shell and shows just how special he is.Willy truly shines around other dogs and gains a ton of confidence from their companionship. Having a canine friend by his side helps him feel safe and brave, and he’d love a home where he can continue to learn from and bond with another dog.Leash walks are still a work in progress for Willy. Being outside can make him nervous right now, so he’ll need a calm, understanding adopter who’s willing to help him build confidence at his own pace. The good news? When Willy feels comfortable, his playful side bursts through—he loves to run around, toss toys, and enjoy life’s simple joys.If you’re looking for a sweet, gentle boy who just needs a little time and kindness to blossom, Willy might be your perfect match.
