My story

Meet Rachel. She is a 4-year-old brown tabby who is have a rough time here at the shelter. She was brought in as a surrender and while she handled it well for the first day, it was like it dawned on her afterwards that she was never going back to her home. At that point, she shut down, hiding in her kennel and hissing at us whenever we approach her. She is understandably very scared to be here and will need a quiet home with people that understand her situation. With a lot of patience and love, we're sure she will open up again and become a happy kitty. She is also spayed and up to date on her core vaccinations and monthly preventatives.
