Olive

My story

We have never fostered an easier or sweeter dog. Olive has captured our hearts. She came to the shelter as a little puppy, having lost an eye. She lived there for the past 3 years and now has been living with us for the past three months. At first she was baffled at living in a house with humans. Quickly she came to love it. She loves getting pats on the head and kisses on the nose; she loves getting treats; she loves sleeping on a dog bed or at the end of our bed at night. She never jumps on us or overwhelms us climbing all over us. She is so smart that she trained herself to use our dog door and do her business outside in the yard. She is happy just being with us – sleeping nearby while we watch tv, work, or whatever. We just can’t say enough wonderful things about Olive.
