Birthdate: 1/14/2025Breed: One of a kindWeight:   36 lbsMeet Shelby!Shelby might just be one of the most uniquely adorable dogs you’ll ever meet—she’s the kind that makes you do a double take, and then instantly fall in love. Her looks are as special as her personality, and once you get to know her, she’ll completely steal your heart.Shelby enjoys going on walks, playing with her favorite stuffies, and—when she’s feeling comfortable—rolling right over for belly rubs. She can be a bit timid around new people, so she’s looking for a family who’s gentle, and happy to let her set the pace as she learns to trust.With time, understanding, and lots of love, Shelby blossoms into a sweet, affectionate companion. She’s ready for a forever home that will give her the bit of patience she needs to shine.  The Rescue is open 7 days a week for you to come and meet our pets! Walk-ins are welcome! In order to interact with them, you’ll need a simple questionnaire filled out. All adoptions are done on a first come, first adopt basis for pre-approved applicants. The Shelter software system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of our dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We encourage you to select your new companion by considering each dog's individual personality and pet qualities instead of relying on a breed label that is only a guess.March 7, 2026, 11:22 am
