My story

Meet Deer, a stunning red-and-white Australian Cattle Dog with bright eyes, a quick mind, and a whole lot of personality packed into her 44-lb frame. Around 2 years old, Deer is at that perfect age where she’s ready to learn, explore, and bond deeply with her people. In the shelter environment, she’s shown some inner conflict—she wants to interact but isn’t always sure how to feel at first. Give her a little patience and space to decide she’s safe, and you’ll see her confidence bloom.Once Deer knows you’re part of her circle, watch out—she turns into a total wild child in the best way. She’s energetic, playful, and full of life, the kind of dog who will thrive with structure, activity, and someone who appreciates the clever, busy nature of a true cattle dog. Deer will do best with an adopter who understands her need for both mental and physical outlets and is excited to build trust with a dog who gives her whole heart once she’s in.The dog adoption fee is $110. They come spayed/neutered, microchipped, first set of vaccines including DAPP (parvo combo), Bordatella (kennel cough), have been dewormed with Pyrantel, and have been treated with selamectin for fleas.Our website updates every hour, but some animals may be adopted faster than we can get them updated online.If you`d like to check on the status of an animal, please call us at 360-352-2510.
