Bronson

My story

Bronson is a 4-year-old snuggler w/a huge heart. We adopted him 2 yrs ago from Rockford Animal Control, where he was a staff favorite. We believe he’s American Bulldog/XL Bully mix, ~90 pounds, and overall a wonderful dog. He adored his smaller canine brother and happily let him be in charge. Sadly, his brother passed last March, and since then Bronson has become very protective of me (mom), as I work from home and we’re together constantly. Full disclosure: he bit my adult son when my son approached me suddenly with a high five. We’ve tried training without improvement, which led to the heartbreaking decision to rehome him. Bronson is loving, fun, and affectionate—he sleeps with my teenage daughter every night and loves to be spooned. He’s fully potty trained, enjoys a fenced yard, and chases squirrels and bunnies. He does well when left alone in one room or his crate. He’s sensitive to chicken n eats fish based kibble. We’ll provide food, bowls, crate, beds, n bones.
