Meet Dixie 🤎🐾 Dixie is an 8-year-old hound mix with a heart as big as her adorable floppy ears. This lovely lady is the definition of a couch potato — she’s happiest lounging by your side, soaking up all the love and enjoying the simple life. While she’s mostly a laid-back girl, Dixie still appreciates a nice stroll and will gladly join you for a leisurely walk. At around 65 pounds, Dixie is a bigger girl, so she’d do best in a home with older children who can comfortably handle her size. She’s past the puppy chaos and fully embracing her well-earned “golden years,” making her the perfect companion for someone looking for a calm, loyal best friend. Dixie is being fostered through Friends of Rescue in Huntsville, AL and is ready to find her forever home.
