My story

Priority Rehoming Bodie is a loyal “velcro dog” who loves being close to his person and thrives in a calm, predictable home. This intelligent Bloodhound/Heeler mix (50+ lbs) is incredibly devoted and wants nothing more than companionship. Bodie has a controlled seizure disorder and occasional neurological disorientation, so he needs a physically steady, experienced caregiver and a quiet, low-stimulation home. He is stable on medication and does best with a consistent routine. He’s a wonderful dog in a complicated body and deserves a safe, loving environment where his needs can be supported. This is an incredibly difficult decision made out of love, with the hope of finding Bodie the best possible forever home. Medical records are available if needed. I am also willing to pay for neuter.
