At 3 years old, this rez cattle dog mix is a soft, sensitive soul who is still learning what it means to feel safe in the world. She doesn’t come rushing up for attention or demand the spotlight — she just quietly hopes for kindness, patience, and a place where she can finally relax. 🥺🐾 And slowly… she’s trying. Her progress may look small from the outside, but it’s everything: 🐾 Gentle tail wags when she recognizes her person ✨ Little bursts of zoomies when she feels safe 💛 Soft nose “boops” asking for connection 🍖 Learning to take treats from hand These are big, brave steps for a dog like Cayenne. She wants to trust — she just needs someone willing to meet her there. 🥹💞 A few things about her: 🐕 Finds comfort in other dogs and would really benefit from a confident canine buddy 🐱 Likely okay with cats with slow introductions 🌿 Best in a calm home with older kids or adults 👨 Nervous with men at first, but improves with patience 🛏️ Loves her crate — her safe, cozy space 🚶 Still learning leash skills and indoor life Cayenne is looking for: 🏡 A quiet, secure, low-pressure home 🐕 A friendly, confident dog companion 💛 A patient human who understands that trust takes time She can still be a flight risk and gets overwhelmed easily, so safety and consistency are incredibly important.
