Leo

My story

Leo is 3 years old and I've had him since he was 8 weeks. He is an awesome dog but unfortunately he was diagnosed with epilepsy at the beginning of this year. I'm looking for a home that has experience with epileptic dogs as well as one that can suit his lifestyle. He is on phenobarbital and takes 2 pills every day at 10 am and 10 pm. So far, it has only been about 2 months since started the medication and they have helped the severity of the seizures however, he is still having seizures about every 3 weeks to a month. He is an amazing dog but I am 23 years old and already had my hands full with him, school, and work but, this throws in another curveball and I've finally accepted that I am not the best home for him. He is super smart and energetic. He loves walks and playing fetch. He is house trained, crate trained, and knows all of his basic commands. He is a bit of a whiner but is overall a great dog.
