Obi

My story

I adopted my kitten back in February 2023. I had a work from home job and was home 97% of the time. This cat is very loving he lovesss attention loves playing. He is never angry, hostile, or irrational. A little over six months ago my lifestyle (job, finances, living situation) has since changed, which has caused my time at home to significantly decrease. I closed my bedroom off at night due to allergy issues and I do not think Obi is handling it well at all, which is leading to a lot of behavioral issues. After this going on for months & me moving again soon, I fear it will get worse. I have taken him to the vet to get checked for everything and they said it was all clear and he was so healthy. They advised it could be anxiety because of the situation. I have tried calming collars, supplements, more litter boxes , but i truly think it is time he goes to an owner who is at home more than I am. It pains me that my constant leaving makes him that worried.
