My story

Dave, a beloved senior dog born in 2016, is seeking a loving and safe home after the passing of his human companion.Dave enjoys being outdoors and taking short walks, but he also appreciates the comfort of coming inside to nap. While he hasn’t had much exposure to other people or dogs, he seems to enjoy meeting new friends, both two and four-legged.While generally calm, Dave can get excited when he spots a squirrel or rabbit in his territory and will definitely let you know what’s on his mind. He is well-trained, knows some commands, is housebroken, and crate-trained. Dave would prefer to live in a house with a yard rather than an apartment.Dave’s right hip gets aggravated with excessive activity, so he’s not a good running buddy. However, he enjoys leisurely walks. The condition can be managed on an as-needed basis with an anti-inflammatory medication prescribed by the vet.If you’re looking for an older dog, he might be the perfect match for you.
