Houston

My story

Houston is an incredibly obedient dog, well trained in the house (never an accident in last 5-years), and bonds with an owner and will show affection and care to him. He enjoys long walks, running around in an open grass field, and the occasional chase down of a squirrel in an open backyard. He loves kisses in the morning to let you know he's up, and he'll communicate with you on his needs. I work from home and he will put his paw on me when he needs to go outside. Even though we live in a building complex and he has made do with pooping on concrete and peeing on the rare shrub, but his true calling is a backyard where he can roam. Houston was born August 2, 2017 and is a rescue originally from Hurricane Harvey to New Jersey and has trauma from his journey. He was in a home for 1 year where he was unable to get along with children in the house. He was then adopted by me on March 13, 2020 and he's a great bond with me in the home. He prefers men to women and prefers 1 person household.
