My story

I am seeking an experienced and responsible home for my 1.5-year-old male German Shepherd. He is a beautiful, intelligent, and high-energy dog who would do best with someone familiar with working breeds and willing to continue his training. He knows basic commands such as sit and is very food motivated, which makes him responsive to training. He enjoys playing and can be affectionate once he becomes comfortable with his people. Because he is still young and energetic, he would benefit from consistent structure, regular exercise, and continued training. He can be reactive around new people and may bark or lunge when unsure. While he has done well around small children, additional training would help him learn better impulse control. For this reason, he would do best with an experienced dog owner who is committed to providing ongoing training, structure, and an active environment. This is a difficult decision, and my main goal is to find the right home where he can thrive.
