My story

 Hiya, I'm Simon! I'm an 8 year old orange and white tabby guy, and after living a hard life on the streets, I'm ready for the soft life inside with cozy spaces and lots of snuggling and playtime with my furever family. I have a good purr, and I like to show off my strength with love bites. I'm still learning how to be an indoor kitty, so sometimes I get a little overstimulated with attention, and then I need to play with some toys so I can get some of that energy out. I am friendly, but since I'm a bit older, sometimes my ornery side might come out. If you're looking for a slightly scruffy old man cat, I'm the right cat for you!   The adoption fee covers the following: spay or neuter surgery; one-year rabies vaccine; feline or canine distemper vaccine; heartworm test (dogs) or combo (fiv/felv) test (cats); deworming; and microchip. Carroll County Animal Shelter is located at 251 Automation Drive in Carrollton GA. Phone: 770-214-3590. The hours of operation are: Monday through Wednesday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Thursday 12:30 pm till 6:00 pm; Friday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Saturday 9:00 am till 4:00 pm. The Carroll County Animal Shelter will be closed the last Friday of every month for deep cleaning, staff training, and animal enrichment.    March 7, 2026, 11:11 pm
