Howl and Calcifer

My story

Howl (female) and Calcifer (male) are a nearly identical brother and sister pair of formerly feral cats from the cat colony in our neighborhood. They are the older siblings of the kaiju kitten litter and were found shortly before their younger siblings were born. We believe that these two are a bonded pair, because they spend almost all of their time playing, cuddling, and grooming one another. Howl is much braver than her brother, being very friendly, playful, and affectionate. Calcifer is still warming up to being around people, and still does not like to be touched. However, we believe Howl is helping him blossom and have seen a great deal of improvement around people (he comfortably sleeps next to his foster owners!). We would like them to stay together to help Calcifer socialize better; unfortunately we do not have the resources to keep him indefinitely, owning four permanent cats of our own on top of the fosters.
