Pepe

My story

Pepe is a 6-year-old neutered male with a gentle, shy personality. I adopted him in 2020 when he was about 9 months old, and he has been my first cat and a very special companion ever since. Pepe forms close bonds with his person and becomes sweeter and more affectionate the more comfortable he feels. He’s a quiet guy who prefers cozy hiding spots over tall cat trees. His favorite places are low, enclosed spaces like the inside of a dresser drawer left slightly open or the bottom of a closet where he can feel safe. Pepe has lived with other cats before, but our home now includes two dogs and a lot of activity, which has been stressful for him. He would do best in a calm home where he can have more one-on-one attention and settle in at his own pace. This has been a very difficult decision because I love him dearly, but I want him to have the peaceful environment he deserves and the chance to truly thrive.
