Stormy

My story

This young adult male cat wandered into our garage over the winter. We have several feral cats in a neighborhood colony and have had all of them neutered and spayed. We named this particular male Stormy, and had him neutered just weeks after finding him in the garage. His docile behavior is clearly domestic, not feral. Stormy is extremely affectionate and loving. He does not shy away from humans, but he refuses to leave our garage, which is a clear indication that he was once someone’s pet. He has a previous leg injury and walks with a slight limp, which the vet told us was manageable. We feed him, provide water, and a sheltered bed, but he definitely wants to go back to being a house pet. He loves to be petted, held, and cuddled. I wish we could keep him, but we’re elderly and can’t take on a house pet. He would be a perfect pet for a loving single or a family.
