My story

Hi, I’m Penny, a retired outside mom and full-time believer in the indoor life now. 🤍 I’m around 1.5 years old and a laid-back, affectionate girl who loves pets, lap time, soft beds, snacks, and relaxing near my people. I also have beautiful speckled eyes and a thick fluffy tail that’s a little shorter than expected, which just makes me extra cute. Before rescue, I lived outside in a large colony of cats under homes in a community. Even then, I was always very people-loving, which is ultimately how I ended up safe in foster care while pregnant with my five babies. I’ve been an amazing mom and absolutely adore my kittens. We’d especially love to see Bernadette or Sheldon adopted with me if the right family came along, but it’s not required. Now that my babies are growing up, it’s finally my turn to be spoiled. I’m spayed, fully vetted, vaccinated, and ready for my forever home. I’d likely thrive in a calmer home where I can relax, cuddle, and enjoy being loved. While I previously lived around other cats and dogs outdoors, we’re still learning what I prefer in a home environment now that I’m no longer in survival mode raising babies. I’m currently available for adoption, foster-to-adopt, or foster. 🖤
