Happy

My story

Happy is a 12 year old Shih Tzu mix whose owner of 11 years recently passed away unexpectedly. He is a sweet boy who needs to be the only dog in the house due to being territorial over his food, treats and toys; he has, however, lived with a cat for most of his life. He is easy to walk, enjoys napping and playing with his one favorite stuffed animal, and will sing for his supper (literally). Happy can be a little reactionary if touched/pet in certain ways and will require some patience as you and he get to know each other. Happy lived in Baltimore MD and in rural Vermont for about 5 years each, and was comfortable in both settings. Mainly, he is looking for another parent/parents who he can bond with and enjoy the rest of his sweet little life.
