My story

I adopted Archie about 4 years ago. It obviously took some time for him to settle in but once he did, he was very loving. I had a female tabby and they seemed to get along quite well. 2 years ago, my GF and I made the move to Waxhaw and combined my 2 cats with her two, also a female and a male. The transition has been less than ideal and we are not sure why. He hides from company now and absolutely does NOT get along with the new cats, especially our other male, Vince. As a solo cat, I know he will make another family very happy. He loves to cuddle and absolutely loves belly rubs. It pains us to give him up but there is nothing gained from keeping these two in the same household when they cannot get along. Gets along great with older/teenage kids, but hides from younger kids.

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Archie, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
