My story

At just 2 years old, Bessie is a plump little sweetheart with the softest eyes and a quiet charm that’s impossible to miss. She arrived at the shelter alongside her companion Abby, and while everything is still a bit new and overwhelming for her, you can already see her gentle nature shining through.Bessie is a bit reserved right now, preferring to take things in at her own pace—but we have no doubt that once she feels safe and settled, her loving personality will fully blossom. Our biggest hope? That Bessie won’t have to spend long enough here to fully come out of her shell—because her perfect home finds her first.
