My story

Rajah is a beautiful 1-year-2-month-old Plott Hound with a gentle heart and a story that has made her a little shy at first but once she feels safe, her loving personality truly shines. Rajah had a rough start in life, so new people and environments can make her a bit nervous initially. She just needs a little patience and kindness while she learns she’s safe. Give her some time, and you’ll discover the real Rajah: a total snuggle bug who loves being close to her people and soaking up affection. One thing that helps Rajah feel confident is having dog friends around. She absolutely loves playing with other dogs and would likely thrive in a home with a friendly canine companion who can show her the ropes and help her build confidence. Because fast movements and lots of noise can still feel overwhelming, little kids can be a bit scary for her. Rajah would do best in a home with older children or an adults-only household where she can relax and continue to blossom. Rajah is the kind of dog who forms deep bonds with her people. Watching her go from shy observer to affectionate cuddle buddy is incredibly rewarding, and she’ll repay your patience with loyalty, love, and plenty of cozy snuggles.
