My story

Meet Lea!Lea is a 6-month-old female cat with a playful, independent personality. While she doesn’t enjoy being kenneled and can be shut down when confined, she has been a totally different cat when given space in the manager’s office. Lea loves toys, enjoys playtime, and has been coming right up for pets when she’s comfortable.She would do best in a home that understands her need for space and lets her come to you on her own terms for attention and affection. If you’re looking for a fun young cat with an independent spirit, Lea may be your girl!This pet is available for adoption at the Yakima Humane Society adoption center. If you recognize this animal, please contact the adoption center at 509-457-6854.Ready to adopt? Great news-our spayed/neutered pets are available to go home the same day! You can visit us in person, give us a call, or apply online-whatever works best for you.
