My story

Freya was born February 21st 2018 from a breeder in Western Nebraska. She is purebred American German Shepherd, Sable colored, and just about 105 lbs. She is truly one of the sweetest dogs I've ever known. She is full of love, and very protective of her family. She has lived with a dog and 2 cats her entire life. We welcomed our first child 3yrs ago and she has been amazing with them the entire time. For years we struggled with spayed incontinence but in 2024 she had a surgery to correct it at KSU Manhattan but sometimes still has accidents if she doesn't get regular exercise. She is full of anxiety. Afraid of wind, shadows, everyone she meets but has never bit anyone. She just runs away and gives warning grumbles that she doesn't approve of new people. She really needs a home that can give her quiet, patience, and daily love and exercise. I am unable to give her the care she needs now and I hope her next home loves her as much as we do.
