Shoko

My story

Shoko is a wonderful little pittie! He's as "couchdog" as they come, preferring to lounge and sleep rather than adventuring. He is sweet natured, never barks, and often keeps to himself. He will choose one toy to become obsessed with and will "ask" guests to play tug. At ~9 years old, Shoko is very low maintenance and in good health. Unfortunately, he has demonstrated unpredictable behavior around our newborn, and as a result, we need to rehome him. He would thrive in a low energy household without children and has coexisted with other animals including chickens and sheep, a neighbor's cat, and other dogs. His heaven would be a home with a backyard so he doesn't have to go on walks, and can relax in the sun on a nice day. Shoko has shown selective behavior with dogs while on a leash, but typically does well meeting new dogs if they aren't dominant and have space to interact off leash. We are heartbroken to have to rehome Shoko, but we believe it's best for him and our family.
